Black dog shampoo FAQs
Which shampoo is best for a German Shepherd?
A pH-balanced shampoo made for dark coats, like Midnight Shine™. It cleans gently and brings out the rich black and tan colour of a German Shepherd's coat.
What is the best shampoo for German Shepherd puppies?
A gentle, tear-free shampoo. Midnight Shine™ is tear-free and safe for puppies over 7 weeks old.
Should German Shepherds be bathed? How often?
Yes, but not too often. Most German Shepherds need a bath every 4–6 weeks, because their double coat has natural oils that protect the skin. Brush often between baths.
How do I wash my German Shepherd?
Wet the coat fully down to the skin, lather Midnight Shine™, leave it on for 3–5 minutes, rinse very well, then dry completely — a double coat can stay damp underneath.
Why is my German Shepherd losing so much hair?
Most of it is normal seasonal shedding of the double coat. Regular brushing and a gentle bath every 4–6 weeks help control it. Bald patches, red skin or constant scratching need a vet. Read our German Shepherd hair fall guide for the causes and 7 grooming tips.
Is it good for Rottweilers and Dobermans?
Yes. Midnight Shine™ is made for black and dark coats, including Rottweilers, Dobermans and black Labradors.
Is delivery free? Is COD available?
Delivery is free on orders above ₹999, and Cash on Delivery is available across India.
